Merry Christmas

When is the appropriate time to watch "The Nightmare Before Christmas"?  If I watch it during the first part of October it feels too early and if I watch it too close to Christmas it doesn't seem right either.  I do enjoy the movie and like to watch it at least once a year. I did this sketch while watching it and ended up with a scary Santa.  Merry Christmas!
